China commerce ministry official says new U.S. tariff plan harms WTO system, globalization


BEIJING (P3PWriter) – China’s assistant commerce minister mentioned on Wednesday that the most recent proposed tariffs from america harms the World Commerce Group system and hurts globalization.

The Trump administration raised the stakes in its commerce conflict with China on Tuesday, saying it will slap 10 p.c tariffs on an additional $200 billion price of Chinese language imports.

The Ministry of Commerce’s Li Chenggang mentioned the one appropriate selection for China-U.S. relations was cooperation.

Li mentioned China’s willpower to enhance the home enterprise surroundings and its help for the multilateral buying and selling system won’t change.
